| Since 2008, Impact Racing has been one of the more noticeable teams at the track. Jeremy's great starts, frequent holeshots, his ever improving finishes including several podium spots, and the bike's vibrant paint scheme and matching leathers help get noticed on the track. In the pits, Impact Racing also gets attention with our professional appearance, attitude, and team uniforms.

We found out Jeremy doesn't like racing in the rain on normal tires. His final race of the day was wet but they had not declared it a "wet start" so everyone was on normal race rubber. A lot of riders didn't even bother showing up to the grid so at least we got a good start on the points for the season. The earlier part of the day was cold and cloudy, lap times were certainly off from what we would have liked, but overall, not a terrible weekend. It's only January.

The new year and race season are here. We would like to extend a huge thank you to PlanetWoot for their support over the past two years. It is with much sadness we say goodbye as PlanetWoot fell victim to the economy and closed their doors. As our main sponsor from day one, PlanetWoot was instrumental in developing our team presence. Setting us off in the right direction, providing us the look and attitude of a factory team, they gave us the motivation to succeed and progress as quickly as we have. Thank you, PlanetWoot!
Living in SoCal is a mixed blessing. We get to race year-round but we have no off-season to rest, train, and prepare for the new season. Not even a week into the new year and we are already packing up for our first of three race weekends this month. The 2010 schedule is set, however, we have not made a final decision on racing any AMA rounds.

The Tentative 2010 Race Schedule has been posted. The plan for 2010 is to again race the WSMC and WERA West series, the new California State Championship series, the Fontana and Infineon AMA rounds, and the Cannonball Bike Run in Morocco, Africa.

The season certainly did not end easily. This past WSMC weekend was an important one. In the early part of the year we ran out of gas just seconds from the checkered flag in 600 Mod Prod on a double points weekend and it cost us 26 points. We had been fighting all season to make it back into the top 3 overall and it came down to this last race. Based on the previous few months results, it looked like we would be able to do it as long as we were on top of our game. Everything looked good until practice on Saturday morning when the shift shaft inside the motor broke, almost sending Jeremy off the track a couple of times. Luckily, because Jeremy had attended a supermoto class on Friday with the rig, Corey had rode his R6 to the track and we were able to pull the shift shaft from his bike and get Jeremy back out for a couple practices on Saturday. Sunday went like clockwork with a 4th in all three classes, more than enough to clinch a 3rd overall in 600 Mod Prod, and a 4th overall in 600 Super Stock and 650 Super Bike. Congratulations Jeremy and all the Impact Racing team for a great season!
